I truly love Alias, but I think this scene is horrible and I'm so glad it wasn't included in the finale. Not only does Jennifer look the most unlike Sydney in season one than in any of the other flashbacks, but she also acts unlike the old Sydney. In season one, Sydney talks about how, before SD-6, she was a quiet bookworm ("the highlight of my social life was the dorm salad bar"). Here, she's plucky and a little rude. Not great writing. And that wig on Dixon is truly the worst in Alias history.

I completely agree. Even though she's supposed to be 19 here, she's not acting like the 19-year-old Sydney we saw in season 1's "Q&A" episode. They also did a flashback of her then, and she didn't -- at all -- act like a little kid. Even in the "Q&A" flashback she was professional.

Also, the music/score almost sounds like a joke here. In the "Q&A" flashback, the score was legit.

@SoTMV Really? I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know!! :) I never got the complete series boxset, I just have the seasons separately. Do you know where I can find these extra clips, either here or on another site?

@AngelMoonGirl It is, and you can find it on the bonus disc that comes with the complete series box set. There's also a deleted scene from Prophet Five featuring Sydney and Vaughn making up, and a deleted scene from Bob with Jack and his lady friend locked up together. Basically, the season 5 deleted scenes were put on the bonus disc as an incentive to buy the complete series.

Its actually from season 5. This is a deleted flashback scene from the final episodes of the show.
