  • Lest we forget this artist's brilliance. She is still with us,

  • She is a heavenly Fanciulla. Her best performance was -in my mind- her appereance at march 6, 1965 at the theatro Comunale in Trieste. Johnson was Gastone Limarilli and Jack Range was Lino Puglisi. The conductor was Arturo Basile. She had one of her finest  evenings. I consider Magda as the finest verismo-sopranos ever. In this genre even better as the great Virzinea Zeani.
