@raynhamma actually he is a great guide, maybe he had an off day this day, and if you have ever given tours to public groups then you'd know that its not gonna be perfect each of the hundreds of times you do it. He's very knowledgeable about Boston and Boston Harbor history, and has written quality books on the subject. I also dont think he has a desire to control anything. If you are more knowledgeable on the subject then you should have a good shot at getting the job as a guide.

This is exactly why I don't like the NPS Rangers leading tours of Lighthouses . The hemming & Hawing , stammering and stuttering --He's a LOUSY Guide , doesn't know squat !!!They should have a Lighthouse EXPERT leading the tour , but the NPS wants to have the control --stupid , stupid !!!!!
