Something like this sort of happened to me, but during the Wei Story mode with Cao Pi. The Escortee AI would keep backing up then running into a mountain/wall.

Ha, this happened to me, except Sima Shi was knocked off a bridge and couldn't swim to shore xD So I had to reset the mission :/
