An instructional video on making your own DIY wind screen for your camp stoves. I've used this with alcohol, white gas, wood, propane and butane stoves and I've found it works well.

The wind screen takes less than 15 minutes to make and costs about $1.00. It uses a standard foil oven liner sheet, disposable cookie sheet or other reasonably large, reasonably thick and flexible aluminium sheet plus some strong yet flexible wire to hold the screen's form.
