Since I have an old snare drum in my basement, I just dampened it with some painting tape, and it turned out as a sweet, considerable snare drum! I also decorated it with the different colour tape rolls, and it looked AND sounded pretty good! I think that someone should try it and tell me how it went!

Even damdening rings are very good.I use them for every one of my toms,Its more thicker than the remo's you have.They make the drum sound amazing.
