I stared into his eyes. His face blank. I felt him start to breath hard, his chest rising up and down. I pulled on some underwear and ran to the mini fridge, I grabbed a water bottle, running quickly back to Joe. He was in the same position. I climbed back onto the bed, cautiously. I pressed the water bottle onto his lips.
"Babe, are you okay..." I asked feeling his warm forehead.
He shook his head, and tears began spilling out of his eyes. He grabbed my face and kissed me. His salty tears that had fell onto the lips touched mine.
He pushed me down onto the bed. His hands feeling my body. He closed his eyes. I closed mine, wondering if he was happy about this.
"Joe answer me." I said before a moan.
His lips sucked lightly on the side of my neck, down to my breasts. I felt us going through our usual routine. I wanted to know his answer.
"Joe answer me!" I said slightly frustrated.
He moaned. I couldn't help but moan back.
He stopped and rubbed my stomach, staring at it. His fingers trembled as he traced tiny circles on it.
I felt the babies heart racing.
Mine racing as well.
I closed my eyes, and I felt him lay next to me, his hot breath hitting the side of my ear rhythmically. I guess I would have to crack it out of him later. I felt my eyelids getting heavy. I craned my neck and turned to Joe.
His face was smug, he looked into my eyes, I stared into his.
"I love you." he said placing a warm hand on my face. My hand overlapped his, locking it down.
"You know I do to." I said, puckering my lips.
He chuckled and leaned his head forward pressing them on mine.
I looked back at the ceiling. I stretched my legs. "I'll get it out of you later." I said through a yawn. I closed my eyes.
I felt Joe shift closer toward me. "I'm gonna be a daddy." He said to himself in realization. I smiled at my success. I placed my hand on my stomach and fell asleep to the rythmatic beating of my babies heart.
