SD Antiquity vs LF Pure PAF

Swapped my Seymour Duncan Antiquitys for a set of Lindy Fralin Pure PAF`s the other day, and did some recording with my Zoom Q3. It`s really silly to call it a Duncan vs Fralin thing, because they are both great humbuckers! Personally I find the Fralins to have a bit more bite to the sound, and the Antiqs maybe a hair warmer. Judge by yourself.

Thanks! No, besides the Humbucker swap it`s a stock 2007 Gibson Les Paul Classic.

Thanks! I use a GDS 18 watt head, which is a Marshall clone through a 2x12 cab loaded with Scumbacks m75/H75. At 3:02 I switch to my selfbuildt Viseg Magnaclone combo based on a 1957 Magnatone Tonemaster. You see it to the right of my GDS/Scumback stack. And yea I agree - it got a fat tone!! I demo both the GDS and the Magnaclone in some other videos I have. Try a search.

Tone is subjective and all, but it's Fralins hands down. It's always Fralins hands down.
