Gary Sadlemyer Hall of Fame Video

A Video Reflecting on the induction of Gary Sadlemyer into the Nebraska Broadcasters Hall of Fame (Note: This video was presented at the nomination committee meeting originally, and then presented at the Hall of Fame Awards Banquet. )

Gary Sadlemyer was inducted into the Nebraska Broadcasters Hall of Fame this year (2011) along with KFOR's Cathy Blythe. Gary is in good company alongside legendary broadcasters like Tom Brokaw, Johnny Carson, Walt Kavanagh, Lyle Bremser, Hedrick, Payne and many more. Gary Sadlemyer pioneered KFAB into the monster radio station it is today, a 50,000 watt blow-torch consistantly #1 with listeners and also #1 in the hearts of Nebraskans.

From Husker broadcasts in the 80's and 90's to hosting the Good Morning Show with Jim Rose, Scott Voorhees and Roger Olson (Producer)...Gary has lead by example and inspired countless other broadcasters to follow his way of doing things..."The Right Way" of doing things.

There is not a person who is more caring, giving, entertaining and self-less as Gary Sadlemyer. This honor is truly deserved and this video reflects that. This video was originally presented to the nomination committee as a 'pitch' to get Gary inducted. Then this Video was presented in front of a live audience at the NBA Hall of Fame Banquet.
