@boredtaco It wasn't as good as Aria or Circle, but it still was great. What I didn't like about this game was the lack of save points in areas of the game.

This game was not only KICK ASS (because it's very similar to symphony of the night) but also because it was.... I don't know, the whole story, the castle, Juste. It's a fucking cool game.

@boredtaco I know what you mean man, i loved the soundtrack, but personally i was confused by the double castle so i could never finish it
-
This game reminded me best of the more classic Castlevanias.

I really am an obsessive fan of Circle of the Moon and I've been playing and replaying it since I was 7, but even I have to admit this is so much better than anything from there.

I dunno, CotM was limited too much by technology. It kinda became too repetitive for me.
But it was the most challenging one after HoD, I give you that. On the other Hand did I require EXP farming in some Parts or I would never be able to get through certain areas. (Damn you Area before Camilla) But that is me and my crappy skills. XD

@Saryakan I think they're ok, but this is probably the only one that I can legitimately say that I like. I thought that, overall, the best GBA Castlevania was Circle of the Moon. Most of it's music was remixed old stuff, but it was really well done. Add on to the fact that it was easily the most challenging one, and I'd be fooling myself to say it isn't my favorite GBA Castlevania, and one of my favorites overall.

And they still manage to kick ass.

this game has decent music but the sound quality is crap. most of the songs sound 8-bit

@flashgunner The reason, from my understanding of it... The team that did the music for Circle of the Moon (which really took advantage of the GBA's sound system) did not do Harmony of Dissonance. The team responsible for HoD had never programmed for the GBA before and thus used the built in Gameboy sound system (there for backwards compatibility) instead of the GBA system. I'm sure someone could better technically explain it, but I digress.
Hell no, this song deserves a hat of awesomeness.

Wow so much hate, was I the ONLY person who loved this game's soundtrack?
