Waiting for Columbus is one of the best albums ever recorded.

the end is a dead end..

In the mid-to-late-'70's Little Feat was a Baltimore-based band.
I'm 45 now but I remember sailing the Chesapeake then with my parents and their friends digging these guys.
I guess I'm an original fan! Maybe the youngest!

I never heard or seen Little Feat until a friend who worked security at Glassboro tate College in New Jersey. Went to the show heard them and didn't remember much from the show. The only thing I did remember was the at the end this giant tomato dropping down. So later I went to a record store looking for it, brought it and been a fan ever since. That was in 1978, have seen them many times with and with Lowell!

Not to burst your bubble az3wheeler but it couldnt have been 1976( this album was released in 1978 and the concerts were recorded from Washington DC in 1977 on the Time Loves A Hero tour) so I think you may have your years wrong but who cares right- Little Feat kicks ass and I am glad you really enjoy them.Alot of those years probably blended together because they were so great.
Late in 1978 I saw this album and on the cover was a tomato kicked back in a hammock. It gave me a good laugh, so I bought it not knowing who Little Feat was. What a great score! Turns out that we played that album over and over again. I am 56 now and still get out the vinyl classics. My wife and I get buzzed and listen to the Feat and others. =-)/

On a trip to Ocean City, MD back in 1976, this was the only cassette tape we had to listen to in my cousin's van. I had never heard of Little Feat until then. By the time the weekend was over and we had played that tape dozens of times, I knew every word to every song and I've been a fan for the past 35+ years.
