Here's what happened to Rocco after 28 days as a vegan -- and the awesome accomplishment of losing 30 pounds was just the beginning.

Well congrats to Rocco. I'm just curious as to when Dr. Oz began advocating a vegan diet, hehe. I remember a time when it appeared he wasn't totally on board with that concept, though I can't site any specific references. I would have also established contact between Rocco and Howard Lyman, another meat-eating cowboy turned vegan most are probably aware of. He would have been an appropriate mentor ;-) I wonder if this was just a 28 day plan or a life-long change.
It's rather sad when the majority of people think it's funny when someone says "there was nothing green on my plate" Eating that much meat is horrible on your body regardless if you're a vegan/ vegetarian or not.
This is so awesome! It's so nice to see well-respected physicians advocating this way of eating and to see that it's possible for the most unlikely people to improve their lives. Makes me happy :)
