@kingkaddy06 I like some of his songs, but most of them are excesses, horribly written and scripturally in accurate. I like "Free" but it's the same words taken from every other Planetshakers song. Mike G used to have themes and cool melodies, but Joth recycles them. "Nothing is Impossible" is a great song. "Free" is good. "Like A Fire" is good, but scriptural inaccurate. Songs like "There's Freedom" are just thrown together. The bridge doesn't even fit the song and the words are just sewn in.

@monsieurpickles as much as i agree that a lot of his songs are the same, youve got to admit that songs like 'i just want you' 'free' and im pretty sure he wrote 'like a fire' (although henry sings it) are great songs.. im defending him, although i will be honest, the fact that he practically wrote all of 'even greater' did bum me out, and it's their first album i havent bought in 4 years.. none the less, i'm just saying that he's got some good songs and his "greats" are different styles.

@kingkaddy06 Joth Hunt is the reason why people will never sing PS again. His songs are all the same, and I become more surprised at how copycat and unscriptural they are. He started off good, but there is no reason why he's writing the entire album.

wow, i know exactly what your saying. although henry has wrote some of my favorite songs, #1 being beautiful saviour, but none the less. joth hunt is a pretty versatile writer! but, versitile as in some great songs and some not so great songs. either way, these guys are definately my favorite worship team!

Geez I miss Mike Gug's songwriting... he was the best. Since he's gone, shakers albums have been a bit... well... meh. Henry can still sing great, but the actual songs are the same old, same old.
