Someone tell, are headbutts legit in this type of fight? cause Lone Chaw headbutted starting around 2:03, ans someone told me in a Lethwei match you can headbutt.

lone chaw hasnt fought the best fighters from the world bcoz he fights in a country that's isolated from the rest of the world. Also, fighters from other countries dont compete in lethwei in their countries. they can go 2 another country like japan or burma to fight but u dont see people in western countries fighting in lethwei everyday. taking off the gloves would make a different. No gloves means its easier to get punches through the guard and u hav 2 hav a good chin

The burmese guy didn't have to do anything to win. The japanese guy just tripped over himself like loads of times and he tried to use his karate moves! LOLLLLLLLLLL!

Way of Lone Chaw's fight looks quite different for me from the "usual" lethwei. Kinda of more western kickboxing. Not so straightforward, more "play".

I suggest Myanmar Lethwei Fighters should challenge MMA fighters to fight in MMA rules or UFC rules like other fighters accept Myanmar Boxers in Myanmar Lethwei rule.

Lone Chaw does not even bother with the Japanese Low Roundhouse kicks.

Lone Chaw's thighs and calf muscles and knees are made out of steel.

Fighting with no gloves is different from fighting with gloves.

Gloves you can guard against an uppercut or a powerful right cross , but without gloves your guard dramatically decreases to 80% and you will not be able to deflect or block out the punch.

Which is why not many people are into Lethwei Kickboxing as it is highly dangerous. But sadly , not many Lethwei fighters are good. Due to the government's militaristic iron law and iron curtain - many are not exposed.
