Down to the Wire; The WTO Doha Round C

I produced this documentary starting in 2003. It was originally independently produced for Public Television and features unprecedented access to this secretive and powerful institution. It hasn't aired but it should be the most discussed news since Watergate. The Doha Round will greatly expand the WTO's authority and understanding it is more critical now than ever.
The G8 and subsequent G4 meetings will yield the 2nd WTO Agreement and it could breeze through Congress like the first one in 1995.

I have worked in international development co-operation, mainly in rural development and poverty eradication, for about 4 decades.

International trade and soci-economic development are very complex issues and involve many vested interests.

The proliferation of bi-lateral trade agreements,already taking place, closely attached to confined national interests is that option better than making WTO minimally operational?
