  • @WWEFanBaseNews - Cedar Fair purchased the park after the park was branded Six Flags.

  • i went in 2001 but didnt geauga lake buy this park back in 2002 or 2003

  • You are correct It was only Six Flags Ohio for one year. Getting those ultra cheap passes was the steal of the decade.

  • I also believe it was only called Six Flags Ohio for one year, 2000. 2001 was when we got those ultra-cheap sea world passes that also came with the SF pass. It is too bad this place went down the drain. I liked spending part of a day here combined with a day or two at CP. 4 coasters in one year was crazy!

  • Funny, I almost posted the same exact thing in the description of the video but decided against it.

  • The beginning of the end...

    Thanks for sharing Sean!

  • I bet you do. I mean, it's not like someone will just show up at your front door with some sort of coaster stuff like that. Could you imagine?

"Hey! I am not using this anymore. Did you want this entire B&M train" Ha ha.

  • I wish I had a piece of memoribillia from the Villian coaster.

  • By the end of the first year there were some folks (myself included) that were really wondering if they could pull the whole Six Flags thing off easily with the addition of 4 new coasters. Sure, we all know how it turned out but it was amazing to see those coasters in one year.....and a brand new one the following year.

The "party" consisted of a construction tour shortly after with a marketing person commenting on how they were excited they were going to take Cedar Point's crowd.

  • It's still hard to believe that they built FOUR new coasters for the 2000 season (a record I believe) and today they're gone. Sad. And why wasn't I invited to this cool party?!
