When I watched this I didn't think it was really the greatest special effects (the arm falling to the ocean bottom looked pretty fake), because I am from an age with lots of considerably "real" looking CGI. Then the end of the movie came and the shark totally exploded and flew into a ton of gore, and I was like "woooooaaaahhhhhhhh!!", and I'm a girl, UT I stil think this is like the best scene ever!!!

@OroborusFMA Somehow i think the novel ending would not have gone over too well. After all this excitement and battle to have the shark simply... die. and sink to the bottom??.
Like having a great session of sex to simply stop and walk out the door.
