No, this is not Free Stock Footage. This is a blatant promo for The Internet Archive and The Prelinger Archive. I have a lot of respect for the Internet Archive and The Prelinger Archive, and I created this video to spread the word about these great WEB Sites. If you are looking for Free Stock Footage to produce your YouTube Videos - Look within the Internet Archive, you will find it there. Go to the Prelinger Archive, the Feature Film or Stock Footage archives found within the Movies section in the Internet Archive. Look For PUBLIC DOMAIN FOOTAGE. Have Fun!........Here is the link to the Archive requested in the video comments: http://www.archive.org/details/moviesandfilms

  • lol it must've taken you ages to render that with all them clips

  • Thanks for the comment. This was one of those clips you set up, start rendering, and then go to bed. As I recall there were 100 tracks of video. Still, It was fun to produce. Best Wishes to you! :)

  • Ivan, I'll certainly be looking for the some cool stuff here. Thanks for the great video. Your editing skills are superb

  • Thanks Richard. The Archive is a great place and worth getting to know. I don't get over there much any more but I have spent countless hours there watching old movies and doing reedits. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Best Wishes! :)

  • how do i download content?

  • Go to the Archive. Find an item to download. Look on the left hand side of the page. Find the box marked (Play/Download). Run the mouse curser over the list of File types offered. Right click on the file type you want. A list of choices should appear. Look for "Save Target As" and save the file from there. Note where you send the file. It should be in your computer where you saved it. Note the CC license. You want a "Public Domain" CC if you want to reedit with the footage. Hope that helps! :)
