Aerogarden Day 50 - Feb 14th 2009 - Light Raised Again.

Here's the AeroGarden on day 50. I raised the lamp again since last update. The Dill looks really healthy now, and is growing nice, the Mint also has beefed up. Chives are still pretty thin, not sure its ever going to get thick enough to compete with the bigger plants, I need to harvest alot of dill and basil or raise the lamp again today or tommorow, otherwise it will burn on the lamp.
The plants are starting to suck back more water now.
I should note that I have never seen my water meter indicator go red, or even show ANY red. I have always added water once it had dropped about 1 inch, or a couple centimeters.

Higher than its HIGHEST position? You cant really, although they sell a extension. You should try and trim the plants so they dont grow that high.

I've got basil tomatoes and strawberries growing in my aerogarden. What growth medium did you use in the pods? I actually got the aerogarden from a verge side collection as some nice person had thrown it out : )

im glad to see that some1 is growing things other then weed in these things to show how well normal plants grow. they do look abit spindley and you could put something to getther alot cheeper that would give you better growth but the areo looks great
