I just recently heard I'm going to be my school's ambassador for the 2012 Maryland HOBY seminar. 4 days of pure, unadulterated HOBY.
I'm so nervous!!!

Because of HOBY I was empowered to give a speech in front of my HOBY family and talk about how a year ago prior to being a part of HOBY that I was going to commit suicide and that I was beyond grateful that I didn't so I was able to experience this life changing event. I truly will never forget HOBY. Stay OUTSTANDING. <3

One memory of HOBY is that no one put anyone down. Nobody seemed insecure. We all supported each other. It was constant happiness and excitement. After going home that weekend it was sad. Like something great had just ended that I would never forget, and miss forever.,
