Easy uphill daytime cruise, (mostly) single lane.

Canon HV20 HDV Camera with Olympus WCON08 wide angle adapter on suction mount.

Video quality crushed to death for upload to Youtube.

Audio recorded turned out to be nothing but a bunch of wind noise, so I subbed it for a song that fit the clip lenght - Exceeder, by Mason.

  • looks pretty good dude. did you leave the OIS on?

  • Yes, the OIS works well for hand held shots, but the HV20 is still very sensitive to high frequency vibrations.

  • This song is trippy...sounds like all sorts of different NES games put together.hahaa

  • Haha.

  • So you can mount a Olympus WCON08 wide angle adapter on the HV20...how(step up ring)??

    How is the image quality??

  • I did it with a 55 to 49 step down ring and then a 49 to 43 ring.

Image quality is great, although you have to watch for flaring (You can see some in the video). I also have an Olympus A-200 1.5x converter that works well enough with the HV20 at 1/2 zoom and above.

  • Hey Joe this is Brian, Chris' cousin (one who had the BMW)

If you have aftereffects you can actually remove the vibration quite easily. I got a link to a tutorial to help if you need it.
