The infamous race mission

Tips:

- Know the maximum speed limit you can take a corner and stay under it. This is not just based on the corner but your skill level as well. These are my recommendations:
- First Corner - Stay under 70mph and probably lower further into the corner. Also don't accelerate too early out of it.

- If your opponents aren't giving you any trouble and you are in the lead just coast through (no acceleration or braking)

- After the 'ramp' (slope before the straight middle stretch) - 80mph maximum - can be accelerated into if going slower

- Chicane - If you have a knack for it you can accelerate through but otherwise I would coast in readiness for the next corner.

- 'Countryside Corners' - 90mph coasting - brake to 60mph when you see rocks on the right. The later turns in this are more tricky than they look and it's where you'll most likely end up turning the car upside down killing yourself.

- Go full throttle on the straight but remember to brake.

- First corner on first lap is the most difficult part of the level with the trickiest turn with the added problem of competing for top spot and having opponents to bang into. If you get through this in a good position (either in the lead or close behind the leader) you should have a good chance of beating the level if you maintain your driving.

- Concentrate - I know it sounds stupid but this mission demands it more than any other - any small mistake can kill you forcing you to do it all again. If you keep falling behind or crashing, take a break and come back later.

- Also try to keep the car in good shape as I have the car's performance worsens the more damage it takes.

- Above all this mission takes practise - stick with it and follow the tips I have given and you will get through.

I feel your pain people! I had to try like 50 times before i managed to win the race on very easy.

dude,i played nfs underground 2 since i was 6,i played a ford game,i played all flatout games,i playet nfs undercover,most wanted,pro street,i played a lot but this misiion is so fucking hard ,the best i did was to be the first on the third lap and then the car just fucked up,wtf its really fucking hard

OMG......this mision is nice...but...why is it so fucking long?!.......you have to ride your car betwen Lost Heaven and the racing circuit 4 times...LOL......

oh my god..... I spun out on the last lap.... right infront of the finish line... got second. Fuck this game its a lousy piece of shit.
