Kelowna RCMP launch police brutality investigation after officer kicks suspect in the face.

RCMP have one man in custody after reports of a gun being fired at the Harvest Golf Club on KLO Friday morning. The suspect had a permit to scare off geese at the local resort where the complains came from.

The incident occurred about 10 a.m.

Police say the man fired off the firearm then left that area in a pickup.

He was located and apprehended, without incident, near KLO and Pandosy.

The man is now in custody and the firearm has been seized.


UPDATE*** "I've seen take downs, been in take downs - I've seen everything. There was absolutely no justification for this. It should be an immediate suspension without pay and termination of the job after the investigation," says the officer, who asked not to be identified.

He says RCMP members are appalled by the incident.

"I never seen anything like it, ever. Not even close."
