I'm not usually very good about communication

Two papers to write but it's time to say goodnight

How the heck was it spent?
Facebook for and hour, then Mario star power,
I guess I'll take a shower, there goes another hour.
It's a waste of time but my mood is at an all time high
It's the dead of night but caffeine's around to make me shine
And when it's day and coffee is in short supply
I'll study hard and maybe I'll just scrape by...
But I'll probably watch a little more Family Guy,
Cops is on later and I'm on stand by
Alisha said it's possible she could drop by
And I heard there's and rerun of an old Queer Eye
Two finals to take but I'm not quite awake
Another coffee break and now a stomach ache.
I can't help but find that I'm avoiding the daily grind.
In my frame of mind it is easy to fall behind.
A few more days at semester's end and I'll be fine
Let's hope my grades are somewhere near the happy kind.
Don't worry, I'll get to that
After I take out the trash and pet my cat
There's a show I want to take a look at.
Now my paper's due and I have scat.
Now I'm online and I'm trying hard to meet the deadline
With my uke (ukulele) in hand, it is easy to see I'm misaligned.
I must step down from my eternity on cloud nine
So the song is done and back to what I've been assigned.
