It really makes one a better musician if he can enjoy the simple playing and understand what is best for the song. To me songs like this are fun to play with drums. It's all about the dynamics and feeling the song. This song is awesome and you did a fine job C!

I have seen alot of players in this genre do similar things. I have even seen people choke up really high on the stick to control the dynamic. Each song is a bit different. I am currently playing music with a very tempermental volume and I have started to place my pointer finger on top to get a bit more control on these soft songs.
