wow my middle school had a contest like thid for the 8th grade ours was a foot long and 4 centimeters of the ground. my team didn't help that much cause they thought it was stupid so i did the work and we cam in 1st. the teacher only brought 80000 grams for the weights and we went over that and hat to put 3 more bricks on it before it started to snap and after an extra 4 bricks before it snaped. my science teacher couldn't belive it. for an 8 th grade project.

I don't remember at all. Those are 10lbs (4.5kg) plates. I think we got 2nd or 3rd place in the class for aesthetics.
