Crazy and harsh things that people say on here are really just a reflection on where they are in their life. It kind of reminds me of dealing with grade school bullies,,,some of them grow up and regret their actions, and some of them never grow up at all. They just grow into old bitter people. Don't take it to heart. It is really all about them and not about you at all. Keep up the great work, I enjoy you and your work.

In my second year painting class my professor complained about my painting so much everyone in the class felt very uncomfortable. When students tried to say good stuff he would say I disagree lol It was very alkward. I think that even when people have consturctive criticism people should consider how they say it - because it can be really discouraging. I felt I wasn't good enough and was really scared to show another painting after that!

Chin up! You know I've met couple of teachers that believe if somebody was "good" they had to push him/her down in order for the student to push him/herself harder and have more discipline and blah, blah,blah. Maybe your teacher was like this!!!!
In the other hand if your clsemates had positive things to say about your work...well I dont think all of them would be wrong :)
