There are several comments here from young African Americans saying that they like this song. Back in the day, you would here this song on the radio, immediately followed by a James Brown or Supremes song, then maybe the Beach Boys, followed by more British Invasion. My point is that in the 60's radio was universal and unifying, not as segmented as today. Everyone was exposed to different types of music daily, all on one radio station. I am glad people are enjoying this...great song and singer.

i remember this song, yeah, i am younger...a little...but in the 60's this was a huge hit, and i will never foget this song! Petula Clark was huge then. xxoo
