Stanford Sustainable Fashion Show 2010
Saturday, April 17 - 3pm
White Plaza
Stanford's Sustainable Fashion Show returns this year as part of FutureFest with an expanded and even more groundbreaking mission than before!
The awareness-raising event will continue to promote activism in the name of sustainability on the Stanford campus and will push the boundaries of fashion in new, more socially-conscious directions. Our goal this year is to reinvent what it means to be fashion-forward in our modern world and for the future. In line with the theme of reinvention, our show will debut local designers that are redefining what it means to be fashionable. All of the designers utilize sustainable practices through producing locally or through the usage of earth-conscious textiles, recycled goods or reused fabrics in their designs. By displaying their artwork, we hope to capture the relevance of sustainability to all areas of life!
