On Tuesday, August 17, 2010, volunteers from All for Animals rescued 6 kittens and their devoted mama. The kittens are all healthy and about 7 weeks old. They were all transported to the Animal Shelter Assistance Program in Santa Barbara, where they will receive a vet check and spayed/neutered. For adoption information, call ASAP at (805) 683-3368.

@demonlordzero also that doesnt mean you will pull them like there is no 2morrow just so they relax and let it body lose, this will also take away some of the strees they mite have

@laiomisti do you have a cat??? the correct way of grabing a cat, so he cant harm anyone and himself, it to take the fur on the back theyr neck(were the mom cat use to grab them) and pull them from there, instinctively they will let theyr weight lose and stop fighting, therefore they can be handle and cared whithout the risk of them harming themselves or other people

@yukarishingame no dude they take all of them besides they will have a better quality life with people, dogs and cats are household animals, they evolve the way they are because humans....

You shouldnt seperate kitten and mother till about 8-12 weeks old. Its crucial for their behaviourial development but good job anyway.

why did you separate the kittens from the mom? You shouldn't do that when they are so young and when they first come to the shelter. It's great you guys saved them.
