@homelespenguin to even mention that he's black during the insult of aggravating him was a stupid decision, I agree Suarez is not racist but this isn't uruguay and he shouldn't of said what he did. Just like when Alan hansen said 'coloured' players on match of the day, he's not racist but he got scrutinized for his choice of words.

to be truly honest, and i am a liverpool fan, i think that it is a stupid excuse to say that he used the word "negro" in a friendly way. i can t believe that. he probably said that when evra fouled him or something like that, so he was probably provoked or something. so he s not a racist. but it is stull stupid and unprofessional to say a word like that and then denying the fact that he used it in a friendly way so the ban has to be accepted. still i support liverpool and luis suarez. @arabischesalphabet Suarez's excuse was that 'negro' is commonly used in Uruguay as is not an offensive word. Also when translated into Spanish, which is the language they were using, it means black and when this is used in Uruguay to another person it is not seen as offensive

@homelespenguin I'm mexican, and here in Latinoamerica "negro" is not an offensive word as it is in England. I believe that here the racial issue and offensive words is not that serious, thank God, we have more important things to think of.
