This was the first song that I heard on the radio that introduced me to the Crusaders back at 12 yrs old, 1997

Tempo, phrasing, lack of continuity and uniformity among the players. When you que up Crusaders 1 as I did back when it first was issued, there was a tightness about the performance. You listened and thought of Carol King wondering how she could perform this again in concert. You had the feeling of all of them soloing but at the same time they were in unison. ely. If that is your band , you have potiential. Just sharpen your chops .And re-name this as a cover of the Crusaders "So Far Away"

classic jazz is great to play, but please let me one day play this type of music in a group similar like this for the shear enjoyment of playing music and jazz that'll take you somewhere else..........................
... just by closing your eyes...... "mahalo"

Sounds a lot like The Crusaders - maybe from one of the few albums I don't have - maybe 'Images' - but it isn't what most folks know as 'So Far Away' the Carole King song they covered on Crusaders 1 - with a young Larry Carlton and his first experience with a Sho-Bud volume pedal - first take recording by the way - look for it - you won't regret it....fyi

lOK, MAN. iF YOU AREGOING TO UPLOAD MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT MATERIAL.Those of us listening to jazz since the 70s know this is a decent piece BUT not what you advertised, a classic. The type of material that make the original author go "Damn, I wrote that"?
