Not really, most gung fu practioners are encouraged to AVOID fights and not go looking for them.
I believe looking for fights is what cavemen do.

@ASTHAXTER no animal is deadlier than a human no animal even comes close humans despite so many obvious weaknesses drove many apex predators to extinction

@ASTHAXTER Guess what, dumbass? Not all snakes strike at the same speed. Some, like Cobras, strike by simply re-directing their body weight (and people are easily faster than a Cobra's strike as you can see in any snake charmer act). Vipers like the rattlesnake are much faster compared to most snakes. There's no way a person would ever be able to compare to that.

@usashas hooray for google
-
What kind of hoax is this? Diamondback Rattlesnakes have been documented to strike at speeds of up to 175mph (approx 257 feet per second). She cannot possibly strike faster than a snake. KMT

@iFoRMaTioN1 they dont teach this stuff anywhere except in some places where kung fu is taught by actual chinese..nowadays in most kung fu schools, they have eliminated the animal techniques entirely and just teach the self defence hand to hand combat stuff.. its sad actually,,one develops speed and accuracy by practising the animal techniques..

A human IS an animal.

The three essences of life are the same.

@Adeezywasheezy what does count as looking for fights? Beating random people up or fighting with friends and rivals or at least fighting against someone you always wanted to(for example to testyour strength or to see who's stronger or even just because you like fighting.)
