BenQ G2220HD LCD Monitor

I pick this up at Staple's for 169.95 on sale I think it is regular 234.95, then of course the stupid tax law in Canada for environmental fee's cost me another 12 bucks so instead of paying like 190 something i ended up having to pay 205.05 for the damn thing. Oh well Enjoy the unboxing!

How did you get the Xbox working on it? I have exactly same monitor and I tried an HDMI-DVI-cable, but it said "No cable connected.". It Works on my PC via HDMI-port, but doesn't work on Xbox. Please help me if you can. :)

@neek247 Well, the HDMI->DVI-adapter works on PC, but not on Xbox. This monitor just says "No signal detected !" and goes to standby. And I don't want to buy expensive VGA-cable, because I bought this adapter.

@Slowp0ke1 have you tried the official Microsoft VGA adapter ? I don't think it will work using adapters.

That doesn't work for this monitor, I plugged in a hdmi - dvi adapter on the end of my hdmi cable from the xbox, into the back of the monitor and it just says no signal detected. :( will have to look into an alternative.

@LFCTraynor I have not no... But I do know that you can use the Xbox on it with the VGA cable I'm not sure about the PS3 thought.

@LFCTraynor I have not tired it with a console but... I know you can plug a Xbox but I don't know about the PS3 but yeah you can plug in the Xbox into any monitor with VGA & you'll get the full 1080p resolution through VGA :) & yeah the gloss my Samsung LCD has it -_- even cleaning it with the cloth I got free with it scratches it.
