Driving out of my neighborhood in lake stevens washington

This is during a very interesting cold/snow storm here in lake stevens, washington. We've had the longest cold weather since 1990 and got about 8 inches of snow here (way more in other areas around here).

Anyway, I'm driving my 2004 subaru wrx wagon down a steep hill. I'm on very bald tires (54k miles on them) and had no trouble at all.

I lived in Gold Bar last winter. It was Brutal. My son's Neon was buried in a 6ft snow drift. The wind blew around my cabin and dropped it all on his car. I have some amaizing pics.

Yeah, just 3 miles east of us in Machias they had over 2 feet of snow.  We ended up with just over a foot total here in Lake Stevens, but it was spread out over a 2 week period.

I was hoping for another snowy winter this year...no such luck. :)

Ahh, yeah I hate it when people stop the video a few seconds too short. Sorry!

We stopped just fine though, there's a little bit of an incline up to the main road. Some people had trouble stopping or going slow down the big hill, but everyone was able to stop before the main street.

The other hill/road from our neighborhood ends up in a lake, our neighbor hit a power box thing and stopped before going into the lake.

Right on. It was a cool couple weeks of snow storms. :)

I put some nice studless snow tires on my car a couple weeks later and had a ton of fun when it snowed again in February/March.

What part of Lake Stevens do you live? I'm on the south east side of the lake.

ohh cool i live in lake stevens too. i remember all that snow. it was so much fun.
