@darthinvaderson I'm in 5b (Markham, Ontario) and my Chinese wisteria both do phenomenally. They're in their fourth year growing up the arbour over the deck (one on each side) and there must be at least 100 buds between the two plants. If you choose to grow them up a wooden structure, you must be diligent in training, as their twisting vines are capable of crushing anything wooden. Worth the extra effort, though!
I was thinking, boy that tree sure looks like the one for SpringHillNursey. Now I see that they are the same trees, just video from different angles. Very nice vine/tree.
Is this a sinensis or a floribunda. What is the cultivar?

will the wisteria vine do well in zone 5? what is the the cold hardeness for the vine?
