UNBOXED: The Mother Of All Impulse Purchases (or so we think)

So Ryan reviewed Prinny on The Review Club this past Sunday and it convinced Alex that he NEEDED to BUY a PSP right then and there!

So what happened?

Alex bought a PSP (3000 model), Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, and Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? (his first NIS game... yes, it's shameful) and

the thing thats wrong with the screen isnt lighting, its the blurring effect. i noticed it heavily in Castlevania SOTN, any cape you get thats transparent doesnt exactly blur right, its kinda hard to explain. other then that, the screen itself is better in every way, its actually an LCD screen to, so much brighter and more colorful.

Thank you for the response! I wasn't particularly sure about the backlighting and everything and - to be perfectly honest - I haven't had a single problem with it! I love the PSP and I am really apologetic that I sold it TWICE!

crisis core will suck you in. i got prinny also and its um ok.. not what i expected. just got resistance today and looks pretty tight

You sound like me lol. I had a psp 2000. Needed some coin and sold it. Then i just recently bought the psp3000 Rachet & Clank bundle. Been playing Jeanne D'Arc and Neo Geo Classic Collection like a crazy person. Just recently bought Hot Shots Golf Open Tee for 9 bucks :D.

So you pretty much bought back your handhelds..I remember you got a DS Lite last time. Actually PSP is great... so many imports for it that are nice too. Personally I'm a bit saddened that lots of the imports aren't ported over... from my understanding i don't think Atlus does any thing with PSP... or rarely... as for Prinny can i really be the hero i liked the game it's a bit hard...though..even harder than ghouls and ghosts in my opinion. you should enjoy the psp keep it this time.

Umm its a good title but from all the hype I thought it would be just awesome. Then again not my type of game. I have been playing it and enjoying it yo some degree. its just damn hard. think i blew through over 600 prinnies so far lol
