  • Harry Kalas is and always will be Phillies baseball!

  • Even though the Phils fell short, Harry the K is still very proud of them this year and is smiling on their fantastic season! We miss ya Harry!

  • Harry im sorry we didnt win the series this year bu the game was still in your memory

  • In August 2009, someone added two pairs of seats from Veterans Stadium to Harry's grave.

They face each other at a 45º angle, so four fans can sit among Harry in the way they have been so accustomed.

  • Harry we love you and your voice from the heavens. You do still live on, Kyle signing off.

  • harry u made every single phillies game a miracle

  • Respect? More like deep, open love. Harry adored Philadelphia sports fans.

He answered all of his fan mail personally, sometimes even hand-written. I have several hand-written cards from him.

The only form letter I have from him is from when Whitey passed away. At the bottom, he hand-wrote, "I would love to see a new stadium named Rich Ashburn Stadium."

However compared to many celebrities these days Kalas treated his 'fans' with respect.

  • If you get a chance, tour the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia.

The monitors along the enclosed second-floor catwalk show the various steps in coin production.

    Harry narrated the videos.

  • My brother lives about 1/4 mile from Harry's grave, so I get a chance to visit and pay respects once in a while.

Yes, angels of love (his loyal fans, some of whom are angels on earth) have blessed his grave, marking it before the Kalas family had it marked.

They do take care of it as well, along with the family and the Laurel Hill Cemetery grounds crew.

Harry is buried right above the end of a gravel road that loops at its top end. The loop even looks like the letter "P"!

  • Harry, Philly loves you I hear you every time i hit a home run at the park and you say " That ball is outta here" You had high hopes
