Through Samaritans we look at using our skills as managers for the betterment of society and to make a difference. Some of the societal activities undertaken by Samaritans since inception in 2001 include, blood donation camps, Hepatitis-B vaccination camp, joy sharing with mentally challenged at a nearby missionary, Clothes and eatables distribution in coordination with Philips India, tie-ups with renowned NGOs and adult literacy programmes for workers within MDI. Interestingly, Samaritans generates its own funds by selling old newspapers and junk.
