Calleja has such an interesting voice!!! It's fabulous! And Anna is sounding very good...her dramatic portrayal of Antonia was heart-breaking. I thought they were both stunning in this show!

Just great!

This is terrible. Two silly divas gasping for breath and singing consistently out of tune, Netrebko with her over-covered dark honking, and Callejas with his pathetically under-supported whining and goat-like vibrato. Singers like these are the reason people don't want to go to operas anymore.

Wonderful!!!

He is great!what a warm and harmoniced voice.Could be the next Pavarotti.
Anna is awful here.
-
Saw him in Lucia di Lammermoor, fabulous voice!

Microfonati, stonati, dilettanti.

As usual, she is flat and off pitch and he sounds like a donkey left out too long in the cold! I had to listen to the dvd version from Covent Garden in order to clear my ears. It is sad that these are today's opera "stars."

@gatticasazza Are you deaf?!?!?!?!

@XPRT10R: THANK YOU ;P agreed.

@ShawDAMAN I agree. If these are the 2 greatest singers ever gathered I would quit listening to opera for ever. Thank god we have been blessed by incomparably greater talents and singers in these roles

the TWO GREATEST SINGERS EVER GATHERED?!?!?!?!
Ridiculous. Calleja is pretty good from what I can tell, meanwhile Netrebko is off pitch sloppy and overrated as usual. I don't hate them, but I can think of dozens of better pairings then these 2.
Wow! Just amazing. But I don't have time to go New York and see him, as I have my own singing career! Some day I hope I could sing against Calleja.
