Palestinian artists are showcasing their paintings in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The theme of the exhibition is tolerance among people around the world. The artists recount how violence and persecution are destroying world peace. Some of the works also deal with the experience of living under Israel's devastating siege on Gaza.
Symbolic references as well as personal and common experiences can be found in the paintings. Working with limited access to materials, the Gazan artists affirm the value of life and the human spirit in the face of a crippling siege.
