"Nightline" ABC talks to a niece of the Church's worldwide leader, David Miscavige. In the interview, Jenna Miscavige Hill gives her account of her life growing up in Scientology, how she became disillusioned with the Church, and why she finally decided to leave.
Lisa Fletcher delves into the controversial world of Scientology. The Church of Scientology claims its membership ranks have grown to the millions -- helped no doubt by the very high profile of some of their believers, like Tom Cruise. But this expansion is in the face of a mounting wave of criticism -- in online videos, and in protests across the country. Astra Woodcraft exscientologykids

  • I will never watch another Tom Cruise movie again . . .

watch the secret lives of L.Ron Hubbard . . . you will not believe what a psychopath on the level of Hitler this creep was.

  • @marketingg101 keeping kids in prison camps....that's.......as low as ANYONE or anything gets. there's no justification or explanation. it's a gd crime against humanity, but hey, they're tax exempt right, isn't that nice for them >.<

nobody can just Men In Black-zap those kids' horrid memories of being imprisoned, it's a crime against them for life, and where's the retribution?

  • @njv1451 What does Islam stand for. Believe in our god or you're going to hell.

  • @ronneesam I am not talking about their religion. Im pointing out that Scientology turns away and in some cases ruins peoples lives just like the Amish and the Mennonites do when a member tries to leave. I am not speaking about their religious beliefs. You should re-read my comment.

  • Calling Clearwater anything tantamount to Mecca is an incredible slight to everything Islam stands for. I'm not a Muslim btw

  • There's the same 'family is not important workers are', 'children have to work & study the cult's BS' & live on poor ranches while the owners are millionaires as the Church of Yahweh.

Military school? What stupid, idiot did they hire to talk out of her ass? These cult camps violate child labor laws, why isn't the gov interfering?

  • Holy shi, $cientology is EXACTLY like The Church of Yahweh & similar trash. I thought it was just some loony cult collecting money & brainwashing, but they use, abuse, & brainwash members.

  • @416mcp Sounds? It is! $cientology takes money, they're as clear as the Church of Rome's corruption would be to modern day people with liberal media. And they're run by another Yisreal Hawkins.

The FBI should do an investigation on that, that sounds like some $cientology conspiracy

  • @marketingg101 It's like the House of Yahweh except widespread, more organized(their waiver tells you to deny psychiatric care their doctors provide), and profit reaping. A reciepe for a pretty dangerous cult. The govt. should crack down on them.

  • where is David Miscavige's wife? I read she disappeared too. this sounds like a cult masking itself in religion

  • What is.., this cult do anyway?
