Alice Rawsthorn: What keeps you up at night - how can design help?

Design critic, Alice Rawsthorn on the major challenges facing society and business in terms of economics, the environmental crisis, political instability and demographic change. What can design do to resolve them? How does design itself have to change to do so more effectively? How will the current challenges evolve over time, and which new challenges will emerge in the future?

This talk was held at the Danish Design Centres conference 'What keeps you up at night - how can design help?' on the 5th of September 2011. The conference focused on design thinking and future business strategies.
