Some wacko hillbilly preacher has written a book that claims that all parents must spank their children or they don't love them and are contributing to their destruction. The thing that stands out though, is he claims that a parent must not use their hand--that would be abuse. A parent must use a PVC pipe, and sit on the child and keep on spanking until the child "surrenders." Well, the practice killed these 3 kids. If you are thinking about giving up your baby pay attention to this, because you surely could do a better job than these people. It's clear that these adopted children didn't end up with good parents, in fact the adopters were so stupid that they did this! We have to ask ourselves as a society why was it adoptive parents that caused these deaths? I think the answer is simple. When its their own flesh and blood child, people are less likely to try out a crazy hillbilly's plan to beat the kid with a PVC pipe.
