In May 2008, Tiana Tillman, daughter of Chicago Bears' cornerback Charles "Peanut" Tillman and his wife Jackie, went into complete heart failure. Without a donor heart, doctors didn't expect her to survive the summer. But a device about the size of a stopwatch saved her life, and in the 18 months since then, her parents and doctors at Children's Memorial Hospital have worked hard to get the word out about the Berlin Heart.
