Whooo, I went to their Somewhere Back in Time tour back in 2008. I have my Aces High shirt too, and I'll be honest, other than their appearances, they haven't changed at all. Bruce still sounds fucking great.

As a kid money was not always easy to come by, but you bought a ticket for $15 and a month later all you needed was another 20 and that would get you a few beers, something to eat and a tour shirt that actually listed all the cities from the tour on the back.
Shirts and general merchandise should not cost more than the damn show itself.
The shows in the 80's were more than just a band on stage playing their top 7-9 songs and a few lights. Guitar/drum solos! Yeah baby!

Also....rarely ever had to have a seat. Most concerts then were general admission. Also never had to worry about NOT getting a ticket because a corporation or something bought them all. there was no internet, no Ticketbastard, you went to the arena itself, your local Head Shop/Record store and bought them. Stood in line to get them. And tickets were made available to the local city BEFORE anywhere else. Also the local Rock station or Newspaper would ADVERTISE the show.

Saw them several times in the 80's, and this (Powerslave tour) was by far the best. And you know what I paid for a ticket then? Oh, I think it was like $12.50. Saw literally 100's of concerts between 82 and 92 and rarely paid more than 20 bucks.
There would be a great opening band and the headliner would play for at least 2 hours. Now the opener is someone you never heard of, and the headliner might play for about an hour. All for the great price of $75. ((average price for a decent seat))

best band in the world.

He sounds really out of breath. Like on the studio version when he hits that high note, I think he tried to at 4:32 and couldn't hit it
I am oh so jealous of everyone who has seen Maiden, at this concert ESPECIALLY. Easily one of the best live albums of all time, every song is a true Maiden classic! Wish they did The Prisoner though :(
