Platune to Conquer Unforgiving Desserts
Once again, a new milestone has been reached, as Platune takes on a new challenge in order to advance their expertise in automobile construction. As a matter of fact, Platune is proud to announce a highly promising cooperation with Sand-X, a Swiss company specializing in Off-road vehicles. It was only a question of time until the company would expand its crusade from t to the roads and waters of the civilized world to the unforgiving terrain of the desserts. And they could not find a better fit. The future collaboration of Platune and Sand-X is not a coincidence but a rather a gratifying completion in their mutual quest for luxury, perfection, and exclusiveness. Both companies simply strive for an extraordinary driving experience, and they surely
accomplished their goal. www.platune.eu

@TheSammyM86 The figures they are claiming...I bet they are tested/predicted figures ran from the engine speed rather than power at the wheel! Hoist the engine up to a rolling road/dyno and test it to its limits, but once you stick it a shitty chassis like that, the engines writing cheques the chassis cant cash!!

@XISiiDIX i agree 100% Busa is all terran while this seems to be strictly sand because of the tracks

@pearcedolan They are complete bull! Im not sure I can see this thing beating, for example, a Busa in a 0-60 race....

@pearcedolan you're wrong and right, it most likely is that fast, and it is way lighter than a quad, but it wouldn't be lighter than a dirtbike, that's for sure. But also it would get stuck wayyyy less than a dirtbike, yeah it could be better, but it looks like a first model... it will get better

0-60 in 2.8 secs??? 185kph top speed?? haha on what surface? these statistics are complete bull!
things too heavy - just carves through the sand, its like a boat. you cant get your body round it to maneuver. Snow mobiles are great - for snow.. why would you chose one over a quad/dirt bike in the desert.
I can see this machines functions for industry/military cos it wont get stuck in the sand like other vehicles do. but for recreation it looks boring as sin.

i think it woud be fun but id still rather a bike out there, that thing would probably be faster than a bike in a straight line but at least u can jump a bike on not kill yourself
