@norom117 it depends on the truck when u take the cats off, my buddy had a 03 z71 and he has the exhaust straight back from the headers, and he lost so much power, youve got to have a certain amount of back pressure

How loud is it? I got pulled over and tge cop stood ten feet away with db meter and at idle, 98 db, 5000 rpms it cranked out 147 dbs! :) i still got away with a warning!

yeah if you dump the exhaust before the cats. you can take the cats off and run a full exhaust and youll see almost no power loss and maybe even a slight gain but not much.
