Marcia hi! Just wanted to answer your question. In a stim cycle your Dr won't give you extra estrogen if your E2 levels are fine. Your fsh injections cause your body to produce estrogen. Thats what your blood test for E2 is measuring. If they find thats its not high enough to sustain good folicles or a good linning they will boost it with estrogen suppliments or small hcg boosters. The same stuff you use to trigger. If you were to take them while your E2 was normal you could OHSS.

I took estrogen the last time, and it was so amazing, because close to the egg retrieval time, they did an ultrasound of my lining, and it was at 6.5-7. and they wanted it to be thicker before the egg retrieval, so they gave me extra estrogen, and in three days my lining went from 6.5-7 to 10! Apparently it does cool things.
