CRANK THE VOLUME UP TO FULL !

I've just re-recorded this one after a bit more practising and realising that a capo on the 5th fret makes the world of difference. I started with some tabs from a guitarpro file on 911tabs:

http://www.911tabs.com/link/?2237915

but the verse is completely wrong on it so I had to improvise that bit (from 27 secs to 37 secs in).

Thought I'd upload this one because none of the other versions on youtube are fingerstyle and I don't think strumming chords expresses the beauty of this song (not that I can fully capture it either).

  • PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make a tutorial!?

Thanks, my life really does depend on it :)

  • @H61P - I'm not sure what I can say other than to start with the tabs, look at the tabs to see what chord shapes the left hand is doing (there are only a few movements with the left hand). Splitting it into sections for each movement with the left hand helps, before training the right hand to follow the fingerpicking pattern...

  • My computer is not downloading the tab! Help!!

  • @rachelhighway61 --- works ok for me, you need guitar pro to open it though

  • I've been sorrily attempting this.

Next to Mr. Tambourine Man, my favorite Dylan song!

  • REGARDLESS of apparent flaws, no one on youtube has seen fit to play this in the proper key to match or atleast commend the blonde on blonde original.

even dylan himself has failed to do so in live performances --SO-- for whatever part of this is yours and whatever part is from 911tabs,

    i commend you

  • click on "more info" on the right... there is a link to the tabs there. You need a program called guitarpro to read the file.

  • where can i find the tabs?

  • I can do if there is enough interest... in the meantime try following the tabs for Part I. I made Part II up myself but i can tab it out if need be. I've just updated the info page on the right with a link for the tabs.

  • can you put out a lesson for the song?? cant see all you do :(
